The bentonite clay consists of mineral crystal silicates from aluminum.  The clay is used as a detoxifying agent due to its poly-cationic nature - or it's ability to absorb negative charged ions. Clay is dynamic in it's signature to become liquidized and then re-crystallize showing us it's ability to remove toxicity from anywhere in the body.
